pptp problem

i just configure my MT and try to make a pptp connection

from my network i can connect to the pptp but from outside it saying to verifying username and password then it give me error message Error 619 a connection to remote computer could not established the port used for this connection was closed

how can i solve this problem

How do you connect on the out side?

i just established a connection from my laptop and it gave me Error 619

i have tow interfaces one for internal and the other for external ( internet )

internal ip is : 10.10.10.1
external ip is : xxxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

and i just establish a pptp connection while i connected to my network its work correctly but when i test it from out side i mean from the internet its gave me error 619

How do you access the outside (internet) interface of your router board? From inside you would be on your lan cable connected to switch or router. Do your internet side have public ip? Do you have separate internet connection with witch you connect to router board. How do you plan to connect to your outside (internet) interface?

Have you tried testing from another place outside your network. Some routers don’t like PPTP and it doesn’t work.
I know at a friends house when i try to PPTP into my network it takes a few trys and he has a linksys wrt54g.
