PPTP problem

Problem its that “PPTP client” doesn’t get connect. We have two CCR1036-12G-4S connected each other on different location through a PPTP VPN.

VPN Server Details:
Model: CCR1036-12G-4S
Current Firmware: 3.19
v6.23
No firewall enabled.
Logs entry :
None related to te VPN attempt from the client.



VPN client Details:
Model: CCR1036-12G-4S
Current Firmware: 3.19
v6.22
No firewall enabled.
Logs entry :
Message : VPN2Office: connecting…
Message : VPN2Office: initializing…
Message : VPN2Office: disconnected
Message :VPN2Office: terminating… - disconnected

This configuration was working correctly until the router lost its power during an outage, after come back the router never was able to establish the VPN connection.

Work around:
We found that if we duplicate the VPN client entry, the VPN would get establish with the second PPTP Client entry.

Any though about it ?

Add these logging rules and see if anything pops up in your logs.
