PPTP route becomes inactive

Hi,

I have problem PPTP client setup in RouterOS.
Have set up a PPTP client interface, a route with the destination as remote net ( 192.168.112.0/24 ) and the PPTP client interface as Gateway interface.

And it work sometimes a few days, but suddenly the packets with destination 192.168.112.0/24 sent to Eth1 ( 0.0.0.0/0 ) and ignore the “PPTP route”.
The PPTP client is still connected.
If i disable and the enable the “PPTP route”, then VPN traffik went thru the tunnel again.

Anyone know how to solve the problem?

what version of ROS? what routing package do you use (if it’s v3)?

ROS = v3.29
routing package = v3.29

you may want to try ‘routing-test’ package - it has all fixes and improvements

Tried to upgrade ROS to v4.6, and the problem has not been any more time.

yep, v4’s ‘routing’ package is v3’s ‘routing-test’ =)
