pptp / trafficproblems

Hi
I have a lot of incomming pptp traffic, and is filling up my log
how to stop that ??
and I got traffic problems. and I think that the is pptp that do it. (see attach)
I got holes under a sekund in my traffic
Messenger / skype logging off
is on my fiber connection / uplink at almoste the same time
there have been running som test / control on the fiber and there is no lost packet

The server have been switcs. same problems

I have a lot of unhappy user :frowning:

I can’t see any logs in that PDF

p.s. those ‘holes’ is simply displaying error. generally it have nothing to do with packets drop or something

Sorry I forget :confused: the log file

the holes is that somthing to worry about ??

I have another problem, skype messenger is logging on and off
the internet connection is fine ??

there are Internet addresses in Log… do you really need external pptp connections, or they simply try to break your pptp server?

you should worry only if there are not empty holes but zeroes =)

in general:

/ip firewall filter add disabled=no chain=input in-interface=Public protocol=tcp dst-port=8291 action=accept
/ip firewall filter add disabled=no chain=input in-interface=Public action=drop

to allow only WinBox from outside, and block all external traffic to the router
