I created an EoIP - PPTP tunnel between two mikrotik routers.
Router A:
Version 4.9
PPTP Server
25M/5M cable net
Sys: 680MHz, RB450G
Router B:
Version 2.9.50
PPTP Client
25M/5M cable net
Sys: Old, 175MHz RB500

All MTU values are default.
The ping and Windows file share browsing are works from both sides. Ping is about 15-20ms.
But if I want to copy a file (file sharing or FTP) or reach the other side with remote desktop the connection is really slow (10-15KB/s).
… And the other side NetBIOS names are also unresolvable from both sides.
I tried to adjust MTU values on PPTP connection, but I can’t get a correct solution yet.
If I use a port forward e.g. FTP connection, the speed is the full upload speed… So, the internet connection is okay.
Has anyone similar problem and some solution for this?
