I there any limit how much to set cache size? Any suggestion?
I see that if cache gets bigger it goes to be slow as bigger you set size browsing will be slower and slower,
Which is best prefered size?
I am using RAM-based caching only for web-proxy, about 220MB max. Works fine for me.
Are you using CF for cache ?
In my experiences when the cache size reach the 30 gb over one sata disk then the usage CPU goes up peeks of 50% or more… (dual core 2,6 Ghz). Then it is time to clear cache. But I think 40 o 50 gb may be still remains good speed at level user navigation. After that, yes, you can only expect see a gradual degradation.
