I only use MPLS/LDP to create layer 2 VPLS tunnels. In ros 6 I never had any issues, since ros 7 it imports a bunch of routes which cause the connection to flap and eventually die. I was going to use a routing filter but they completely screwed that idea up in ros 7, for me anyway, I could figure them out in ros 6.
This is primarily for a voip phone that needs layer 2 and VPLS has always worked better than l2tp or eoip, until ros 7 of course.
