Print VLAN Help

Hello everyone
I know this has been up before but I have another working network so I’m on it and have been fighting for a long time now without making it work.

I have a functional network with 3 VLANs.
all 3 VLANs have 3 different gateways.
my VLANs are 2, 10 and 20 all l2 vlan on cisco.
all my APs are microtics and my trunk between cisco and microtics works as they should.
Now I would like a 4 vlan VLAN50 which is a printer VLAN.
I have massaging mikrotik routers so I will insert an RB750 between these VLANs and the printers.
I’ve now google everything and tried everything but I can’t make it work.
i have trunk all vlan tin ether1 on the RB750 and from it i can ping it all but not out and in?
My goal is to be able to print from all 3 VLANs?

My Vlan’s are like this:
VLAN2 = ip: 10.0.0.0/24
VLAN10 = ip: 10.20.7.0/24
VLAN20 = ip 192.168.2.0/24
The new VLAN 50 has ip: 172.20.0.0/24

Is there an easy way to insert an RB750 into my network and get all printers on the VLAN 50 where it works?

(I know these networks have spread, but that’s due to a lot from HOTSPOT To Domain and guest networks.)
I really hope there is someone who has a solution, because after what I can read it should be right, I just haven’t found the solution :frowning:

Regards
Jimmy

My guess, based on your pretty vague description, is that the problem is in routing.
When adding some router into LAN, one has to be very careful about routing config … and that primarily involves config of router acting as default gateway for each of involved subnets (and not necessarily the newly added router). Additional complication is when routers act as firewalls as well (because it’s quite easy to end up with routing triangles which mess up conection state machines on firewalls).

Hi MKX
Ya i no a lot can go worng so it will not be testet on live network.
I have setup a copy of the network here at home and i have try all what i cut find on google but no luck :frowning:
I think i have reset the new router about 30 times now with defrent config :frowning:

Cheers
Jimmy

Jimmy, post the config of the mikrotik so we can assist. {skol}
