Prioritize SIP and VOIP traffic

Hi,

I have PCQ setup for all the LAN peers for 512K up and down. I want to prioritize all network traffic between 192.168.1.0/24 to IP 192.168.1.100 for VOIP since 192.168.1.100 is our SIP based VOIP gateway. How could I do that using winbox on Microtik OS 4.17

Mark all packets going to and from your SIP/VoIP box. Use those packet marks in your queue scheme to assign a higher priority and bandwidth limits you require.

Search the forum, read the manual in the wiki, and read user examples in the wiki. QoS is a massively complex subject and is not something that is easily taught in one or two forum posts and require effort on your part. To borrow from one forum user, “Specific answers require specific questions.” You’ll need to get at least a basic understanding of it and how it works before specifics can be given and have any kind of meaning.
