Prioritize Voice

We have an ITSP where all of our customers run SIP phones and we need to prioritize sip and RTP packets ahead of regular internet traffic.

My mikrotik is being used as our core router for our ISP.

We accept our internet connection on eth2 and our network is on eth4. All of our servers and clients are on public ips and we have a /21 subnet. Ethernet 1 and 3 are reserved for expansion.

Our internal network is on 190.3.160.1/21 on Eth4
Our internet interface is 200.31.74.25 on Eth2

We are running an RB1000 on 4.5

Mark and apply queues to all your traffic and assign VoIP a higher priority. This should be a good start.

Sorry, this really doesnt help…I can read this too and it speaks nothing to voip prioritization. I just want to prioritize voice.
