Have a quick question, although it may not be possible. Search results haven’t looked promising. Is it possible to set traffic to and from one device at a higher priority then anything else connected to a RB951? I realize you could set all devices in a queue besides it and limit their traffic, but the customer was wanting something more of a QoS type of implementation. Is there a way to do this or something like it?
Yes, it is possible. In order to apply priority you should really understand how it works.
You need at first a parent queue which will control its child queues. The child queues are were priority is applied. I would recommend use queue tree, but it can be done with simple queues as well.
