prism2 engenius pcmcia card

I have started to play with RouterOS 2.9.6 with 2 pci netgear and 2 PCMCIA engenius cards.

The netgears are working perfectly. I have problem with the two engenius. The pcmcia are on an isa-to-pcmcia adapter (VG-469) who seems to work perfectly. As soon as I insert the PCMCIA card then a beep is heard and after some seconds a second one on different tone :frowning:. I open winbox and go to drivers. I can see the “Prism2 PCMCIA” drivers but if I go to Interfaces I can not see anything.

Could you please help me to find where the problem is? Is it on the pcmcia adapter or on the pcmcia cards?

I have a hunch…

I dont think I would use a ISA - PCMCIA bridge.

Try a PCI to PCMCIA bridge.

That’s right, engenius are 32bit and ISA is 16. Need PCI
