Problem accessing WebFig via the WAN

Problem with 750UP running 6.15 and accessing WebFig via
the WAN.

I have set the WWW service to port 30003 and created an
accept rule for it in the firewall.

When I browse to the address of the 750, I get the WebFig
login screen, although occasionally one or two of the icons
(Winbox, Telnet, etc.) don’t load.

If I then login, most often I am returned
to the login screen with a “the connection was reset” error.
Very rarely, I can get to another tab, or it starts to load
then fails the same way.

Using Winbox on the 750 works fine (thankfully).

In the past, the incomplete loading of images points me in the
direction of a bad MTU/MSS value, but I have two other 750’s
running with identical setups and they don’t have the problem.

Other Web servers behind this 750 (solar charge controllers,
IP cams, etc.) all display fine.

It would be nice if I could fix this so I don’t always need
to have a Winbloze box to admin the system via a GUI.

Any suggestions? Searching the forum didn’t turn up anything
relevant to my particular situation.

Thanks.

6.15 is quite old. Maybe you can try 6.32.3 instead. If it doesn’t help, post the export here.

Pretty sure that running 6.15 is not the problem. As already stated, two other 750’s running 6.15 are fine.

I had a user that’s on the network try to access WebFig from the “inside” and it bombs out the same way. So, it isn’t due to the WAN after all. Didn’t know that until now, but perhaps knowing this will help with a solution.
