Problem after update from 4.16 to 5.0rc9 in RB750

Hi

We were testing RB750 with RouterOS 4.16 for OpenVPN and it have some strange problems with MTU.

So we try to upgrade to 5.0rc9. Upgrade was succesfull but RB750 start to works veeeeeeery strange. Slowly first, than startups start to takes over 30-40 seconds. Start loosing ethernet connections. After “hard reset?” with RESET button it had default config, ok, than power off power on and and again over 30 seconds to startup… repeating.

Ok, lets try downgrade to 4.16, bla bla bla and … it falls completly.

Diods:
PWR: ON
ACT: ON
Diods 1-5 blinks for one second, turnoff, that about 10 seconds nothing is ON except PWR and ACT and that is still repeating…
RESET does not helps.

Could that RB750 be death or is there any way to help him ?? :slight_smile: Any sugestions?

You mean it isn’t booting at all after the use of reset-button?
it could be that it has entered the state of “boot from ethernet”
which means it is looking for netinstall server. If it doesn’t find neinstall,
it will reboot to look again for a netinstall server, and so on.
