Problem ARP

Hi,
I have a mikrotik 2.9.7 with 3 private interfaces:
public
dmz
private with hotspot

in the network private the dhcp pool assegn range 192.168.20.2-192.168.20.253 e the gateway 192.168.20.1 assigned to interface private

the problem is that I have the apparatuses that they compose the network in class 192.168.0.x e also assigning an IP to the private interface in class 192.168.0.1(example) I do not succeed in ping the apparatuses on the layer 2

I have noticed that the arp list it is empty therefore does not receive the MAC address.

how I can resolve?

PS: the problem is not found it on mikrotik 2.8.28

Thnx

take a look if your interface have set arp to enabled

yes the interface is set arp enabled :frowning:

no help?

Is it that Universal Client is reponding to ARPs

Universal Client in the version 2.9.6 where it is?
how I can resolve this ugly problem?

The Universal client seems to be built into the Hotspot and not a separate service as it was in 2.8 - so I’m still trying to figure this out too

nobody of the programs to say to us if at least it is a bug? therefore we avoid to lose time

diceman, are these addesses belonging to HotSpot gateway ?

P.S. diceman, HarvSki about universal client,
Turn off address-pool (address-pool=none)
http://www.mikrotik.com/docs/ros/2.9/ip/hotspot||0.21307799255505225

They are not the addresses of the devices that find on class 192.168.0.x (devices radio) while the dhcp-pool of hotspot assigns IP 192.168.20.x (client hotspot)
but I do not receive and not ping the devices on class 192.168.0.x
:frowning: :frowning: :frowning:

solution?

no help? :unamused:
