Problem at frequency range

Hello
I have a wireless link using the netmetal 5 and 32db. The distance to this link is 43 km. I have a problem. If I change the frequency range, the link will be cut off, although the new frequency range in the two antennas it will be added
And it’s still interrupted, although the two sides are in sight and have a good link
It will go from a higher frequency range. The link will be cut off
Thank you for your help

All microwave system have a sweet spot frequency they operate best at (excluding outside man-made-noise).
As you increase or decrease frequency, the SWR (standing wave ratio) will get better or worse -and- the antenna TX & RX (including coax cables) will get better or worse.
To find the sweet-spot-frequency, you need to perform multiple connection tests at many different frequencies.
Then when you have your list of candidate frequencies, then test again on those frequencies using a Mikrotik btest.
Then when you have 2 or more frequencies to work with, set your client Mikrotik scan list to specifically only look for the AP on those frequencies. This will allow the client to find the AP faster and also gives you the ability to change the frequency on the AP and know your client will find the AP pretty fast.

There are several tips/tricks to take a look at:
802.11 vs nv2
hardware retries
nv2 cell size
802.11 disconnect timeouts & …
horizontal polarity vs vertical polarity
