NV2 is Mikrotik proprietary, it will only connect to Mikrotik equipment. If you want to talk to a Rocket M5, NV2 must be disabled.

As mentioned you will have to either set MT to “any” network or 802.11. Also you need to make sure airmax is not enabled on the M5 AP.
