Im trying to connect 2 points in 1 tower in wds mode, ca someone help me sayng if its my config correct?
Tower 1, RB 411 in AP Bridge mode,Card Engenius(AR5413), WDS mode Dynamic, Omni 12dbi Hyperlink(switched from an 8dbi)
Point 1, less than 1000 mts from tower, RB 411a in BRIDGE mode, Card Engenius(AR5413), WDS mode Dynamic, 26dbi Zirok Antenna(brazilian) = Connect ok
Point 2, 1200mts from tower, RB 411a in Bridge mode, Card Engenius(AR5413), WDS mode Dynamic, 22dbi Hyperlink Grid Antenna= Connect fail
The first point do the WDS automaticaly ok, the clients are running fine, the signal i think isn’t ok, so in that distance(point 1-Tower) the percentage of Tx CCQ are about 50%.
The second point, the link cannot connect from tower, the distance is too short for the problem be the Distance, so:
1 - Switched the middle of Hyperlink 22dbi grade antenna for an new another one, no connect
2 - Switched an engenius card from point 2, for a new one, same, no connect
3 - Switched the new engenius card from point 2 from Tower, no connect
4 - Put the Element of the 22dbi Grid antenna, put him in the direction of point 2, Bingo, Connect THE 2 POINTS,
5 - in my mind the problem is the 8dbi omni antenna ok? no, switched for an 12dbi antenna, and still not connect the point 2.
Interesting fact is that my technician wen changing omnis antenna, the Point 1 still connected well with 50% Tx CCQ, the same percent wen he was connected with the omni(maybe connected on omni, card to point2 direct?)
I think the problem is the Signal Strengt, the WDS configs are ok, the same as the point 1.
The point 1 are connected always, changing antenna, element from the side of Point 2, without antenna in tower, he still connected, the problem can be the Hyperlink 22dbi?
