I have in sfp + 1 a link of 1GB with operator A, in sfp + 2 a link of 2.5gb with operator B and in port sfp + 3 a transport to IX (PTT) of 10GB / s with operator C.
My traffic peak is 6GB / s total.
I have problems with one or two CPU bursts getting 100%.
I tried to upgrade to last stable version and it got worse, I went back to better version where I have less problems.
In this ccr I have BGP sessions, ipv6 only. I have nothing else besides that.
The problem I believe is with PTT because when you disable the interface, the processing drops a lot. Even so, overall, overall processing is low as you can see in the image. I have problem at the moment of less traffic as in the attached image where I am passing 1.4GB / s total. What can I do to solve it?
See the tool profile at the moment of bursting 100% in the core. It’s not normal. Always my biggest process is networking. I am testing at the moment of less consumption of the ccr1072 in the time where less traffic passes.
Legal. Na imagem que você mandou ainda tem Wireless e Mpls na sua CCR. Seria interessante desativar os mesmos. Quanto a tabela de rotas esta ok, temos uma 1016 aqui rodando 2gb agregado e cpu saltando em 100% é bem pouco mesmo, porem, aqui só ipv4.
Legal seria rodar um tools>profile e acompanhar e ter certeza do que faz seu núcleo bater 100%. Mas, se tratando de Mikrotik é muito provável que seja o processo de bgp, pois, se o bgp aprende ou tem que manipular muitas rotas na tabela de uma vez o processo de bgp faz torar um núcleo da caixa. Isso aí é em todas é algo do próprio RouterOS mesmo. O que você pode fazer é manipular sua tabela de roteamento para faze-la não atualizar tão rápido. Como você tem conexão com o IX, cogita deixar desativado a sessão com o Looking Glass e com o Route-Server2 só para ver se o problema persiste. É que, como você disse, você só usa ipv6, então não posso falar com muita propriedade a respeito. E no que diz respeito a esse problema de saltar um núcleo a 100% reza a lenda que o RouterOS 7 vai ter suporte a multi-core nos protocolos de roteamento ai vai ser só alegria.
E o pior que a versão 7 é uma lenda. Outro bug que vejo é que em algumas caixas, mostra cpu com consumo no firewall. Impossível pois não uso firewall nessas caixas. Só volta a ficar normal se eu exportar o backup, resetar a caixa e importar novamente.
