I have a rb112 and it lost access to it.
I can access the device by serial cable and routerboot and is discovered by netinstall software. However when I try to reinstall mt the netinstall just quits after a second and the serial console just says waiting for upgrade server forever?
re-download it now from our webpage, and try a newer version. you can also try to format the NAND from the BIOS before netinstalling
Thanks. But I have already tried that. I did just re download Netinstall but it made no difference. Also I have reformatted nand and upgraded bios to no avail.
Do you know if any windows services are needed for running this function on the client or is it all contained inside the netinstall programme?
Thats all I could think of as the program gives no error message it just waits for a second after you click install then does nothing while the console just says waiting for upgrade server?
check if there is no firewall or antivirus running, and try another pc altogether
Same problem here when using my laptop. I have to use a desktop PC to get netinstall to work for me. No serial port, so I have to use a USB to Serial adapter with my laptop. Pulled my hair out for a while.
