so i am trying to setup a metaROUTERs feature on my RB 951ui v7.5, my router is entirely new with the default configuration on it.
so the first step i go to metaROUTER menu and hit the + button too create a metaROUTER, when i hit apply button in this picture my router reboot
with no metaROUTER created at all . anyone know what may cause this..?
I’ve been searching a while and stumbled upon this old question that was never answered.
I have an RB2011-ethernet-only with the same mipsbe architecture and just as old tech as the RB951 series.
For a while now I have tested some of the RouterOS version 7 versions but adding a metarouter sends the 2011 into a reboot. Downgraded back to 6.49.10 and voila. it works.
Not sure I have the energy to test various version 7 to see if I have any chance to fire it up on version 7. For now I am assuming metarouter may be slightly broken in favour of leaving space for the development of the container feature on higher end devices.
