Problem upgrading license from lv 3 to lv 4 w/extra channels

I got problem upgrading rb411 v3.3 comes with level 3 to level 4 with extra-channels

This is level 3 license key :

Case 1 :

  • board is level 3
  • paste level 4 key
  • reboot
  • board is now level 4
  • paste extra channels key
  • reboot
  • board is now level 3 with extra-channels

Case 2 :

  • board is level 3
  • paste extra channels key
  • reboot
  • board is now level 3 with extra-channels
  • paste level 4
  • reboot
  • board is now level 4 without extra-channels

What’s wrong? the board or the key?
key is purchased from pre-paid account…

I suggest you check with support@mikrotik.com, maybe they made a mistake.

  1. it’s not possible to upgrade license level. you simply need to make a new purchase with the appropriate level selected.

  2. as I see that is not the problem. you have 3 keys - the original L3, the upgraded L3+CF and a new L4 key. You need to upgrade the L4 key to CF to solve the problem
