problem with 100m tower.

i want install two sextant radio antenna for 5km distance.
one of the tower is (100m+20m for power building) and we install radio antenna on 100m height (for observation Frensel Zone).
i can not install a box on the tower body.

problem:

Did you work on this project will POE ?

and your offer

hi…
may be you can consider using the Cat 6…
and using the 24HPOW…

With good cable I have 140m and 24v.

Use fiber cable, 2x converters and dedicated power cable (in.ex. 24V) I think that more than 100m for outdoor copper cable it too risky.

more than 100m is out of spec for ethernet anyways no matter how good the cable might be.

You can use passive reflectors for that distance.

Is 10Ghz allowed in your country? If so, then there are some examples around on the internet for such a system.

Basically its a periscope, you will need to engineer the top reflector carefully and the angles will need to be adjusted by the poor chap that has to install it at the top.

Mesh could be used at the top of the tower as well to lessen the wind loading.

You also might want to research Laser light at that distance..

I vote for a separate 230v cable and a fiber cable.

Inox, why are you laughing, do you think it is a joke?
