problem with booting routerOS 2.9.17

I have been doing some testing on Ntreme2 and I found that with the two 1.2ghz PCs I am using, they don’t have the power to handle dual links so I moved the DOMs over to a couple of 3.2ghz Dell PCs.
One of the Dells booted up ok, but the other one gets to the Loading system screen and the stops after the “No errors found.”
I have changed all kind of shit in the bios but it still come up with the same thing.

Help PLEASE!!!

5 veiws and no replys! Nice
Ok, I have tried 3 other DOMs and I think that the Dell Power Edge 400SC has a problem with these DOMs. :frowning:

It seems to work with a CF card in a IDE to CF adapter.
$%%^%$^%#@@&* I hate Dell!!!

LOL,
POS Dells.
I just put the same DOM that would not work it the Dell PowerEdge 400SC into the Dell Dimension 9150 and guess what??? It works!!
WTF Dell? LOL
And the Nstreme2 test goes on.

Have you tried disabling UltraDMA, ATA133, etc? Are you sure the disk geometry is set correctly for that DOM? CHS, LBA, user defined?

Oh man, I tried it all. or as much as a Dell Bios will let me.
I got all happy about the thing booting up untill I put the RB14 back in and then it had the same problem. LOL
I moved the RB14 to another pci slot and it boots all the way up NOW.
But on the Dell Dimension9150 I had to change the rb14 with a newer one that is shorter so that I could move it to one of the other slots that has a hard drive bay blocking the older longer card.
I guess I have to sum it up as flake as hell. One minute it works the next it wont.
PCs are so much fun.
