I find that CCQ of some of my clients is very variable. Sometimes it is 20% and in next 2 min it goes to 60% then 80% and 20% again. I have no idea why this is happening. Pls advise. Should I consider CCQ as the stadard to give good connectivity to clients
Interference is the most common cause of low CCQ in my case.
Yes, CCQ shows connection quality. We want 100% in a perfect world. Lower amounts are more expensive to maintain (in AP time) so you will want to fix the problem. Usual causes are interference, obstructions in the fresnel zone, wet cables, bad hardware, etc.
I try to keep all my customers better than 70%. I start hearing complaints at 50% or lower when latency becomes an issue.
Good luck,
Tom
