I have question and problem
mikrofik offers support with GPRS - internet access link.
I have adapter PCMCIA to PCI - RICOH
and GPRS card OPTION 3G
mikrotik recognized this devices
in
PORT section
I have added by mikrotik - serial1
and when I create PPP-client profile is colum Used By I can see -
so the name of PPP profile which I create
problem which I have is to activate Pin code of the sim card
I mean - in manual of Mikrotik written is:
Enter the pin code from serial-terminal (in this case, PIN code is **** -
where * is my Pin Code) :
/system serial-terminal serial1
AT+CPIN=“3663”
but when I write command
/system serial-termina seria1 and press [ENTER]
I only see [Ctrl-A is the prefix key]and when I try to write Hayes command
like AT+CPIN=“my pin code” a have nothing -
I can’t see what I write and
console didn’t respond on this command
when I pres Ctrl-A I only gat:
[Q- quit connection] [A - send Ctrl-A prefix] [R - autoconfigure rate]
and only compination of keys which working is - Ctrl-A
other combination like Q, B, R - didn’t work
so I’m have problem -
because I couldn’t set my pin code to sim card and get connected to my GPRS
please help and tell me what I doing wrong
I check it on mikrotik version
2.9.27, 2.9.48 and 3.7
and on any of these I couldn’t write interminal Hayes
command about set access using my pin code to my simCard
maybe someone have or could write a script which
set pin code to simCard via console and
enable after that proper authorisation of pin - ppp-Client to get conneciton to
internet via GPRS
and make it automatically even after router reboot.like
ethernet and other interfacess which started after reboot
automatically
please help with my problemand answer on it
