Problem with implementing SXT 5HnD Antenna

Hi There



In fact, I’m working on a project and I want to transfer Video capturing , On one side I have standalone DVR device and On other side I have a PC.

Distance between these Devices is less than 4 Kilometers and there are into City .

how should i configure these SXT 5hnd’s?

Please Help Me…

If I understand you correctly you are operating in an urban area. In this case you will need to make sure that the SXT devices see each other, and nothing is in their line of sight.

As per your video stream I am not able to provide you any advice with the amount of information which you provided.

Since RouterOS v5.15 we have a new easy setup mode - Quickset. To use it, simply open your web browser, open 192.168.88.1, and Quickset will launch. With quickset, it’s easy to configure the device, just a few clicks.

If your SXT unit is running an older version of RouterOS, you can upgrade - copy this file to the device with FTP and reboot it: http://download2.mikrotik.com/routeros-mipsbe-5.18.npk

Then follow above steps. Let me know if you need more help

hi! sorry my bad bad english! but i must ask and i need answer. can i connect by wireless stx 5hnd with groove 2hn. it is real??? i use this manual http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Transparently_Bridge_two_Networks. but my station and ap can’t see each other. may be problen in station works in 5ghz and groove in 2ghz?? if it is right ? how can i fix it??? thanks

Yes, 5GHz device can not connect to 2GHz device. You need to have both devices in the same Wireless frequency range. Best way would be to get Groove 5Hn.

I have 2 sxt’s connected in Bridge mode and and can test between them bandwidth test etc etc now, I have a Camera at the other end connected to the SXT that is set as Station. I can see the Camera but I can’t connect to it for some reason maybe there is a feature which I should Give a look at ? The firewall is disabled and even the nat.
