Problem with IP/address and IP/route pref-source need some help

Hi guys

i have messed up a wireless radio at a 20 mile distance whilst playing with vlans on the device and a mikrotik interface on the PTP … basically i have setup de ip address netmask and gateway on the radio.. but i have setup wrong

basically the correct settings would be on the mikrotik interfaces

IP/address 10.25.25.240/28
Netmask 255.255.255.240
Gateway 10.25.25.241

and on the Wifi antena i should have set the
IP 10.25.25.25.242
Netmask 255.255.255.240
Gateway 10.25.25.241

but instead i have saved up the wrong settings on the remote antena to IP address 10.25.25.237 and ofcourse this falls into a different gateway 10.25.25.225 on the mikrotik with pref source setup automatically to 10.25.25.225…

my question is , is it possible to set the pref-source static to 10.25.25.241 in order to be able to ping the remote device and connect to it to fix the IP address?

i have been trying to set static ip route with specific pref source.. but distance is allways 1.. and ofcourse it does not get active because distance 0 is enabled on the other correct pref-source IP.. 10.25.25.225…

if someone knows a way of playing around with it.. in order to be able to connect to it remotely without needing to travel 20miles and climb up 40meters in the tower to reset the device on the other end.

On the connecting device (the other end of the wireless link) can you use mac-telnet or similar to achieve CLI access? the mac-protocols do not require active and correct subnetting to see their neighbors.

Alternatively, you could configure yourself on the other end within the same subnet you placed the bad device and you should just get it via broadcast (not needing to have default route)

pref-source won’t help you much because it just marks packets on egress to say ‘hey reach me back on x number instead of y’ so won’t help routing much.

On the connecting device, add interface IP address in same subnet, and add masquerade rule.
Then the remote device doesn’t need its GW properly set
