Problem with large packets

Hi,

here is the situation

Cisco 72xx- Radio link Mtik RB411 OS v3.10 - Cisco 18xx- Radio link Mtik RB411 OS v3.10 - Cisco 18xx

mtik`s working in bridge mode

AP mtu

Ethernet mtu=1596
wlan mtu=1596
wds static mtu=1596

Station

Ethernet mtu=1596
wlan mtu=1596
wds dynamic

ping to ip with size 1508 df-bit

Success rate is 0 percent (0/5)


ping to ip with size 1500 df-bit
Success rate is 100 percent (5/5)



I need large mtu packets /1508 or more / for mpls vpn clients

Any ideas

you have set that fragmentation is allowed, that is why everything is working, when you disallow fragmentation any packet that is bigger than 1500 bytes will fail 100%
