problem with mac address

i have mikrotik ues hotspot and pppoe i cant control uesrs to login from one computer
exampel : user 1 in computer 1 , uesr 2 computer 2 … ( user 1 just can connet from computer 1 and if he used it in anther computer not work

im ues access point and all user have access point not wirless card but acess point in mikrotik i see mac address of access point not mac address to computer network card
and i cant control of them in ip .. i put ip and uesr name and pass but he can login from any computer

i uesd this milrotik hotspot ip 10.90.40.1/24 and every uese have ip not in this range
exampel : computer 1 192.168.4.4
computer 1 193.167.7.7
computer 1 196.173.5.8
i uest this ip becuze client dont show computer and printer and file shaer in the network
and uesd proxy-arp

Hi,

I had a similar problem with our test system, only one client could connect through the ap, all others would hang on dialing the pppoe connection.

Untill the first client connected disconnects and then the other client would be able to connect.

Seems that some access point only allow 1 pppoe tunnel to be made through them.

My workaround to this was to install a PCI atheros Wifi card into the router and that sorted our problems out.

Any amount of users can now access.

Don’t know if this might help, but thought I would let you know what my findings on similar problem was.

Try clone mac address from host on ap.

Did u create a user with mac filter on the account?

If you did, remove the filter and try dial in again
