Problem with minimum tx-power 6db on Netbox and Netmetal

Hi,
I can’t set a tx-power lower than 6db on Netmetal and Netbox, so I can’t use them with mANT 30 because in my country the EIRP limit is 1Watt.
Has anyone experienced the same problem ?

For be inside 1W EIRP you must transmit with 1dB and use only one chain
(or 1dB on 2 chain if you consider the two cable loss)

If you need low power, why use NetMetal5 and mANT30 together?

NetMetal is the only metal case routerboard…
But the problem is that also the NetBox 5, that is in plastic, has the same issue.
For the mANT30 choice, I usually prefer oversized links and sometimes I’m in nLOS, you know that in Italy there are a lot of trees :laughing:

After the request to Mikrotik support, it has been fixed in 6.29 :slight_smile:
