problem with netinstall and cf kingston 2gb

does anybody tried to install ros over the netinstall directly to a cf card 2gb?

on 128cf kingston everything works good

on 2gb cf got only this message
SYSLINUX 2.08 2003-12-12 Copyright (C) 1994-2003 H. Peter Anvin
and it hangs

Perhaps you can give more detailed information about the Compact Flash card of 2GB, maybe you have another module 2GB module to try.

My netinstall can’t found my CF Kingston 2gb. (with ide CF adapter)

Can anybody help with this ?

thank you
andres.

If Netinstall can’t find it, it means your Windows can’t find it too. And that is not a RouterOS problem, you probably have a faulty reader of flash

I also just tried Kingston 2GB compact flash card part number CF/2GBKR, and it also hangs after SYSLINUX. I used NetInstall and it formatted and installed just fine, but it does not boot; the HDD LED is solid and it hangs. I tried a couple other cards (256MB, 512MB) also with NetInstall and they booted fine.

I guess Kingston 2GB is not compatible with MikroTik RouterOS. I am using v3.25.
