Hi there,
To know I have a hotspot configured on Lan2/Wan interface (I have a switch that is connected to the Lan2 interface in which all my APs and stations linked to) and each an every AP I have is linked though Lan2 with a vLan ID.
In addition to that all the interfaces and ports are linked together to a bridge Lan
Recently, I created a PPPoE server over the interface BridgeLan and associate that with the Radius server
the PPPoE server working fine and perfectly directly through any interface of the routerboard.
My problem :
When I try to connect to the PPPoE server through that switch most of the time it fails (about 1 try succeed out of 30) I feel like the PPPoE Discovery packets lose
their way though the interface,For the Point-to-Point link stations it didn’t connect at all.
*I couldn’t provide my clients with PPPoE service over the stations and switches.
Solutions I have tried :
- I tried to change the the PPPoE server interface and the ip address to Lan2 -It didn’t work.
- I tried to create a vLan interface for the PPPoE and linked it to the PPPoE server (and activate vLan management over my P2P AP and station ) - also It didn’t work.
