After latest roteros and firmware upgrade, from 6.49 to 6.49.3, I can’t access my RB 1100AHx4 dude edition. All ports(including the console port) are dead (lights are off). I try factory reset, but same problem.
I’m afraid that it’s gonna be netinstall. Is the Dude stored on the SSD? Maybe you’re lucky with that data. I believe netinstall won’t touch the SSD.
Can’t connect to router through Eth ports and console.
Netinstall is a tool to unbrick your device. It will format the disk and restore the OS. It is destructive for any old configs…
I have the same issue with a RB 1100 AHx4. After a sudden power outage it is constantly recycling. Trying to use Netinstall, but it never shows up there and I am unable to flash it. Port 13 is lit when I push reset (after a while) and yellow LED is flashing… Seems there is activity on cable as the network leds are flashing, but still nothing happens. Seems to be bricked… Any ideas?
