Hello.
I installed the RB1100AHx4 router about two weeks ago instead of the RB1100AX2
And I have two issues that are unclear to me whether they are physical or in settings.
After a few hours the router works all ports in switch 1 stop working.
Sometimes I manage to cancel and run and then write on port “R” but it does not work.
Sometimes this problem appears at the same time, but problem # 2 always occurs after problem # 1 has already started.
All ports on switch 1 (1-5) have outbound and inbound traffic of 34GB and sometimes up to 5000GB, with adsl modems only supporting 100mb.
During this time, sometimes this time appears within the “switch” menu in the HOST tab “D” of FF: FF: FF: FF: FF: FF: FF
What do you say? Physical problem or something in settings?

Thank you..
A loop between two 1Gbps ports cannot make the statistic show 30+Gbps on the physical interface…
this is either some massive software bug or hardware issue…
Big question.
You said you replaced an older X2 with the X4.
But did you configure it fresh or try to copy config from the X2?
If copy, did you do /export to an RSC file on the old one and loaded this, or did you try to restore a .backup file?
Both are bad ideas because hardware in the X2 and X4 is different. Loading a backup would be super bad.
I tried the latest versions and it continued to cause problems.
I did not backup.
Today I returned the previous router and it works fix without problems at all.
Glad you did not restore backup from different model. That would totally mess up the device.
If you have the time, use NETINSTALL to reset RouterOS on the X4 (it will erase the disk and install clean system, without any weird things that might remain in there “hidden”).
Then try to test it again, maybe first on your test bench with a PC with iperf or such generating traffic.
If you can recreate the issue on a fresh config - or after rebuilding the config by hand (no backup restore, no .rsc script load) - then it sounds like hardware issue, collect SUPOUT when you get the crazy numbers and contact MT via email.
