Ports ether2 ether2 and ether4 are bridged, another ports are working in routing mode.
Sometimes the router stops responding, all traffic is passed through the router in L2 also on non-bridged ports and he is not visible in /ip/neighbors
Same here. Nothing in the log, cpu ad memory usage looks OK, but after some time router stop works, leds are flashing but unable to ping all interfaces. ros 5.25.
Several topics about similar behavior.
This is a months old problem. Mikrotik either do not know to fix, do not care or maybe this is a hardware problem only for some boards and they do not tell us that. Only “fix” so far is to run ping watchdog and restart device if port(s) died.
well, I have about 200 RB2011 (together with ~1200 other routers), and random 10-20 of them having problem in every week. I tried 6.2, but after restoring config (made with 5.22) some mysterious packet loss occurred in multicast. Then I configured it from scratch, but none of my scripts did not work (due some variable problem), and etc, and etc, and then I gave up. How the hell I test this pre-beta quality 6.2 in the live network? If I will take a risk and upgrade only selected few, then they may not having a problem within year.
Anyway, 6.2 is still way too buggy for use in wide scale.
Did you make some changes to cure this bug, or simple suggests to use 6.2 and just hope, that it will go away by itself? Changelog does not tell anything about something similar …
