I have a problem with an old active winbox session in safe mode on AHx2 RouterOS v6.28
Of course I haven’t clients connected that I can close from that ip (it is in the local network)
I don’t remember if I made configuration change so I’m asking if there is a way to kill the session without losing any active configuration or what is the “safest” way (soft reboot? hard reboot?).

Getting out of safe mode will leave the current configuration as is, so guess you just need to exit safe mode.

I have no more control over that winbox.
The IP address where the connection is from, is used for NAT and I think the connection was drop, the client was close but with the IP still reachable, the routerboard didn’t close the session.
