Problem with sending email

Hello to all,

I am getting a security warning from my provider Gmail that it will be blocked because emails were sent from different regions or countries. The following problem: We have a lot of customer routers that we support and for a failure we have created a backup script that sends the backup via email. Unfortunately, I now get these warnings from Google. Is there a trick or another provider? The number of routers is just under 400.

It’s already quite a while Google has changed this behavior !

You need to go into the gmail account you want to use for sending.
Then
-Security
-Signing in to Google
-app password

Setup a unique password for the application you want to be able to use the mail service.
That may become 400 times …

That password you need to use then for sending mail from the correct device.
I don’t think you can reuse an app password on multiple devices but you can always try (it wouldn’t be logical if it was possible, to me at least).

Alternative (I think):
set up your own mail server and let that one connect to the gmail account for sending.
Then you only need 1 app password.

Thx I will try this
