I bought a new server: HP Proliant DL360 G5 with Smart Array SAS P400i and 2 Disks of 72 Gb, configured as 1 Logical Drive by the Controller SAS (Raid 1+0).
I tried to install RouterOS on this machine but the SETUP doesn’t find any Hard Drive.
Is there a solution to make visible the drives to the setup of RouterOS?
How can i use the Smart Array P400i under RouterOS?
Any news on supporting the Smart Array P400i for the HP servers? Already have a routerboard but would like to put Mikrotik on my HP server instead but it says “FATAL ERROR: no harddrives found”
I really don't want to run Mikrotik from a USB drive but I guess I will if I have to.
Debian Wheezy will see the logical drive from within the P400i and install, yet I have to download the Broadcom NetXtreme driver. Mikrotik has the Ethernet driver but doesn't see the logical drive within the SAS P400i array but sees a USB drive and will install to it, yet it sees the Smart Array Controller under System, Resources, PCI. Device #5, but, I'm guessing that's where the "unknown" portion is coming into play with Device 0, 1, and 2.
