Problem with SNMP Link Graphs

Hello and excuse my english.

I been having this issue lately with the graphs and SNMP polls in my links. I have uploaded a picture showing what my main map looks like most of the time. When i check a link with “the problem”, the interface that i was graphing doesnt show on the scroll down list. So if a delete that node and put it back again, the interface shows back again. Basically i have to delete and put back all the nodes with this symptom to resolve this issue. But if i restart “The Dude Server” service, or restart the whole server, the problems comes back again, so i have to start deleting and puting back everything back again. I have more than 100 nodes configured on my Dude server, so you can imagine what a hard time it gives me when this happens.

On the side note, i’m using “The Dude” on a Windows Server 2003 Standard OS.

So can someone share a workaround or any idea for this?

Thanks in advance for taking the time to read my question.

Best Regards!

In my opinion the labels that are not updated have not been collected in a timely fashion but you never have to recreate them, they will show correctly the next time the data is collected and processed quickly enough. Although there was a change somewhere in version 3 that made this happen way more often, there were several complaints.

One thing you can try is to change the dude service to run as high priority. I have been running it that way for a long time and it works well. Some labels are still not updated but not as often.

To set the service to run as high priority you can manually change it with sysinternals process explorer, windows task manager will not do it.
Additionally a program can be installed that will modify the service when it starts. (I have not done this for my self yet). I have been manually setting it every time I restart.
