I have rb 450g, router os version 4.2 and 4Mbit/s ADSL.
When I downloading something my max speed is 2Mbit per connection.
When my pc direct connected to th modem I get full speed of my adsl. (I tested this by downloading one file as premium user from rapidshare with single connection)
When I connect modem and pc to routerboard and when start to download my speed don’t go over 2Mbit/s .
I don’t have any rules for badnwidth limit. Is it bug in router os or routerboard can not thoughput more than 2Mbit/s per connection?
I have a 450G that I’m using for my router. Whilst I don’t have a fast internet connection, I am seeing through put on the LAN at 7MBytes/s so the through put of the switch chip at least is alot faster.
I have serveral subnets on the LAN and my queue list is limiting the tx, with the queues removed, I’m still getting about 7MBbytes/s throughput, and that is having to be routed from the one subnet to another. Neither speed is what is recorded on the 450G but what safari is measuring as a download speed on my Macbook from an internal webserver.
I would assume that something else is causing a problem, rather than a generic RB450G limiting your traffic.
