I have connected a multi branch company offices together using Mikrotik wireless devices.
I have location A with Mikrotik G-5HPnD r2 in AP Bridge mode and 3 location are connected to this AP in Station bridge mode.
Location B and C, I have SXT lite 5 device installed.
Location D before we were using delibrant device.
This scenario was working fine in past 6 months.
But a few days ago in location D, someone has stolen the delibrant device so I installed a new SXT lite 5 also in this location but I don’t know why the device is not connecting to the AP. Distance is very close and it is about 70 meter. The signal is very good and about -48 to -52 db.
AP ssid is: MFT_A
Device in location D get connects to the AP but after 2 or 3 seconds get disconnect again.
The wireless package versión installed over AP Bridge and over the station. If have diferent versions, maybe the wireless package is diferent. Make an upgrate to the last versión of RouterOS (6.40 now).
The modulation protocol is necessary same over all CPEs. (802.11, Nstreame, NV2).
The bandwith channel is same for all devices.
Over the option scan list write the frecuency transmission of AP bridge.
If someone has stolen your sxt but it’s still connected, And other AP is in bridge (not AP bridge) mode then you will see the network but will not be able to connect. Change your encryption keys.
It was because of “channel width” setting. On AP side it was on 20 Mhz and on station side also I was using the same setting, then I just tried “20/40 Mhz Ce” on station side and it’s got connected. I don’t know why but now is working!
