Hi all,
i am not shure what is problem, with mirkrotik or with something else. Well, mikrotik routerboard 133c is working like pppoe-client and its connecting to mikrotik RB133 pppoe-server. Network behind RB133C is NAT-ed and in that network are 2 machine with windowsXP os.
All of that machines need to make connection with Windows VPN Server, but only one machine in the same time can connect to vpn server and other is waiting. There are no any restrictions for connections. What u think what can be the problem.
Thanks.
Check “max-sessions=” value in pppoe-server interface. 0= infinite
Problem was in disabled gre and pptp service ports.
Clarification please…
I have had a few problems with hotspot vpn customers myself especially with MT hotspot running. Did you have a problem with a computer running vpn client connecting to a vpn server through a MT router or was the MT router an origination or termination point on this vpn connection?
I have not enabled the gre or pptp service ports in MT because tunnels were being made through it - not from or to it. If I were to turn these on would it help tunnels throug the MT router?
Thanks
Scott
yes, these ‘ip helpers’ are for traffic thru the router. that way it knows which natted clients to forward GRE back to.
