I have a problem with Winbox’s DialogBoxes. I cannot click anything inside it. I can drag and move it, but can’t click any buttons in it.
For example:
when I run Winbox and try to connect to device with wrong password, I have window “RouterOS WinBox Error” with button “OK”. I can’t click this button, can’t close this message window. Everything was OK till Windows 10 Anniversary Update.
Winbox is v.3.11
I have the same problem.
Cant click in DialogBoxes (eg. Reboot)
I cannot click anything inside it. I can drag and move it, but can’t click any buttons in it
I have this problem on 5 Computer - all have Windows 10
The problem shows after windows 10 upgrade
To solve problem (eg reboot box in winbox) try use “Program Compatibility Troubleshooter” in winbox context menu.
Run Winbox in windows7 Compatibility mode
I tried the “Program Compatibility Troubleshooter” in winbox context menu (problem is not fixed) and run Winbox in windows7 Compatibility mode - it doesn’t help.
It just started happening after i upgraded to Windows 10 Creator Update. With the older version of windows 10 winbox was working fine.
But with creator updates and later updates mikrotik inside winbox is doing issues on diolog boxes, e.g. Winbox disconnected, or rebooted the mikrotik and then ‘OK’ can not be clicked.
And i can also see after windows 10 creator update, also mikrotik did not offered a new version of Winbox to improve this bug.
Hope Winbox issue another version with this bug fix.
Bump.
This problem is not solved yet!
Using Windows 7 compatibility mode doesn’t help on Windows 10 with latest updates.
It is very annoying to have to restart winbox application every time you make mistake to open DialogBox.
Hopefully this will be resolved soon!
