Problems connecting Groove ac with Routerboard hAP ac

Is there a comprehensive walkthrough somewhere on setting up the Routerboard hAP ac to work with the Groove ac?

With my previous router this seemed simple, but i’m having problems with the hAP ac. Especially when it comes to setting eth5 as the WAN port to make use of PoE.

I’m finding that RouterOs is constantly crashing when I change various settings. When I set eth5 master to none, and set DCHP to eth5, in the quick settings sceen, I only have the option of selecting eth1 or spf1 as the source for the WAN connection.

The basic setup I’m trying to achieve is to use the Groove ac to pick up wifi, then access that through the Routerboard, with all devices laptops, mobiles etc.. only connecting to the Routerboard.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

As an update on this; I managed to switch the WAN port by making changes to eth1 and eth5 in the interface settings (setting master port to eth2 and none respectively). Then there were two firewall rules to swap eth1 to eth5, and an NAT rule.

Then I had to change eth1 for eth5 in the DCHP client settings.

With all that I have an active internet connection now on eth5 with PoE supplied to the Groove ac.

Unfortunately, the QuickSet menu, under the ‘Router’ mode, still only allows selection of either eth1 or spf1 as the port.
