Problems new RB532

HI
I have to setup a new RB, I can get in contact with the board
I have try: winbox, seriel cabel -hyber terminal-, netinstall
no contact, power is ok

hope someone can help :smiley:

I would recommend checking out http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/First_time_startup

Also, remember if you connect through serial port you will need a “null modem” cable.

why you need netinstall to connect to your RB??? they all come with RouterOS preinstalled, all you need is to connect power and plug in ethernet

check your settings of hyper-terminal, baud rate by default is 115200 if you have not changed that using netinstall.

also if you connect RB to same subnet you should be able to see its mac address using winbox (where you enter address of router, there is button with … (3 dots) push it and you will most probably see your board, again if you have not ruined that using netinstall.
