Problems with CRS305-1G-4S+ and FS SFP-GB-GE-T

Hello everyone,

I’ve recently received the compact “CRS305-1G-4S+” and am trying to set it up as a PNAT router (using masquerade). However, I’m encountering a major issue: it seems like the device is not responding to the link status properly.

No matter what I try, the router doesn’t appear to detect changes in the link status of the connected ports, which is causing significant problems in my setup. Has anyone else experienced this issue or have any suggestions on how to resolve it?

So far, I’ve discovered a couple of things:

When I set Rate Selected to low under Interfaces > SFP, I can at least start communicating with the SFP module.

After that, I need to go to Interfaces > Ethernet and uncheck Auto Negotiation, then manually set the speed. A restart is required for these changes to take effect.

Even with these adjustments, I’m still facing challenges with the link status. Has anyone else experienced this or found a more stable solution?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
