Hello everybody, my name is Antonio and I´m from Madrid, Spain:
I have a very rare problem with my Mikrotik HAPc Router, I acquired this device ´cos its wifi range and speeds capabilities. I have also a router of my ISP provider Orange with a ONT (I keep those devices for the VoIP that I need for my telephones). When I plug directly to Orange Router I have (of course on cable Ethernet connection), I get this values:
Download Speed (Mb/s)=608
Upload Speed (Mb/s)=610
But when I plug to the Mikrotik HAPc, I get these :
Download Speed (Mb/s)=458
Upload Speed (Mb/s)=540
I have always the latest version of the firmware and without be an expert, I know how the OS works. Then I tried to do my best testing different settings (MTU Values, L2MTU,Flow Control and Auto-negotiation) and finally the best that i obtained was:
Download Speed (Mb/s)=499
Upload Speed (Mb/s)=616
I Will be very grateful if somebody can help me, something made me lose more than 110 Mb/s on my download speed. Of course I tested with two computers (one PC and one Mac), and I have the same results. I think, I need a truly expert hand …
