Hi,
I am trying to setup a network in a local village and i have been using RB 3 x 112’s in various locations as the main AP’s, these have been setup in WDS bridge mode as i want the main router further up the line to provide the DHCP, the CPE RB’s are 133c. These 112’s are being fed from a single Alvarion AP to three Subscriber units, which are in turn connected to the 112’s.
The first part of the network went a treat and the end user was picking up DHCP from the main router and the traffic was flowing a treat, however when i added the second AP and had is all configured with a 133C hanging from it, that is when the problem started, since connecting the CPE up the speed to it has been dire, even connecting a laptop to the AP is the same. I removed the AP and took it home and tested it on my network and it was working very well.
Update It appears that the problem is on the Wireless side, two of the AP’s can see each other and i think that there is some conflicting issues, even though both have different ESSID’s and are on different frequencies. Does anyone have any ideas why there is a problem?
Many thanks,
Jamie
