I administrate local network with mikrotik RB2011 (Router OS 6.13). I need to make NAS reachable from wide net. I’m using this script to update IP of WAN intarface http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Dynamic_DNS_Update_Script_for_No-IP_DNS. It works perfectly. Also I configured port forwarding according to this http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Forwarding_a_port_to_an_internal_IP. When I login to NAS from LAN, it works fine, but when I’m trying to login with my phone - there is a mistake(timeout). I would much appriciate any idea
Just tried one experiment: I made port forwarding on different device - it worked. So this probably not the problem with no-ip or port forwarding. The device I’m trying to reach is server under Ubuntu 12.04. There is Apache2 works on server and Trac(wiki) on it. As I said everything works perfectly at LAN. When I try to connect, there is activity on mikrotik
. However it just fails by timeout
